In maths we are learning to work as a group and to include others.In maths we have been learning fraction problems,in my group I had to share my ideas and include others so they knew what we were doing.
In maths we had a problem that said "Each lava lava uses 2/3 of a metre of material.How much material would they need to buy for 15 lava lava".
After reading the problem my group was confused,then I shared my thoughts about the problem and I said "2/3 is 1 metre of material so we need to multiply 2/3 of a metre of material by 15 lava lavas = 30/3
So I knew that 30/3=10 whole metres of material because 30 divided by 3 = 10
My next steps are to question peoples strategy.
